The foundation of exceptional design
Every surface tells a story. Our curated selection of premium finishes and materials defines sophisticated European and American design — chosen for their integrity, beauty, and enduring quality. From the silky depth of lacquer to the warmth of natural wood veneer, each material is selected not just for how it looks, but for how it feels, how it ages, and how it performs in your daily life.
We work directly with material manufacturers in Italy, Germany, and the United States to source finishes that meet our exacting standards for quality, consistency, and environmental responsibility.

Cabinet finishes selected for integrity, beauty, and lasting quality.

Choosing materials is one of the most important decisions in your kitchen project. We make it clear, enjoyable, and confident — never overwhelming.
We begin by understanding how you use your kitchen, your tolerance for maintenance, and the environmental conditions of your home. A kitchen that receives direct sunlight requires different materials than a north-facing space. Families with young children have different needs than empty-nesters.
Touch, compare, and experience materials in person at our showroom. We present curated options — not overwhelming catalogs. You will see full-scale door samples, stone slabs, and hardware in natural light. We also provide take-home samples so you can evaluate materials in your own space.
Your selected materials are integrated into the overall kitchen design — ensuring that cabinet finishes, countertop surfaces, hardware, and backsplash all work together as a cohesive composition. We create detailed material boards with all specifications for your approval.
Once materials are confirmed, we lock specifications and place orders with our manufacturing partners. You receive a complete material schedule documenting every finish, color code, and surface treatment — a permanent reference for future touch-ups or expansions.
PET/Polymer finishes offer the best combination of durability and aesthetics for high-traffic kitchens. They are scratch-resistant, UV-stable, fingerprint-resistant, and easy to clean. Luxury melamine is also extremely durable and moisture-resistant. Lacquer offers the most visual impact but requires gentle care. Natural wood veneer and solid wood develop beautiful patina but need periodic maintenance.
Absolutely — and we encourage it. Combining materials creates visual depth and distinction. A common approach is pairing a matte lacquer island with wood veneer perimeter cabinets, or mixing solid wood uppers with a PET polymer base. Our design team ensures material combinations are harmonious and intentional.
Natural wood veneers develop a gentle patina over time, especially lighter species like oak and maple. They may darken or warm slightly with exposure to light. This is part of their character and beauty. We apply protective coatings (matte, satin, or open-pore) that slow this process while preserving the wood's natural feel.
Yes. Our European manufacturing partners hold CARB2, FSC, and PEFC certifications for sustainable wood sourcing. Lacquer systems use low-VOC formulations. PET finishes are recyclable. We prioritize manufacturers who demonstrate genuine environmental responsibility in their supply chains.
Yes. We strongly encourage an in-person material experience. Our showroom displays full-scale door samples, stone slabs, and hardware in natural light. We also provide take-home sample kits so you can evaluate materials alongside your existing home finishes, lighting, and flooring.
Material costs vary significantly. Luxury melamine is the most accessible option. PET/Polymer finishes are mid-range. Natural wood veneer and lacquer are premium options. Solid wood is priced based on species and construction method. During your consultation, we provide transparent pricing for each material option so you can make an informed decision.
