Natural & Engineered
Stone Options

Selection of luxury natural and engineered stone slabs for kitchen countertops

Bookmatched Marble

Calacatta Borghini, Statuario, Nero Marquina, and Paonazzo marbles sourced from Italian quarries. Each slab is individually selected for vein pattern and color consistency during private yard appointments. Available in polished, honed, and leathered finishes — bookmatched pairs reserved exclusively for your project.

Quartzite & Natural Quartz

Super White quartzite, Mont Blanc, Taj Mahal, and Colonial White — chosen for their balance of natural beauty and daily durability. Quartzite offers marble aesthetics with superior hardness (7 on Mohs scale). Ideal for families who want natural stone beauty with lower maintenance requirements.

Architectural Limestone

Honed Pietra Cardosa, Basaltina volcanic stone, and specialty limestones that provide unique tactile qualities. These options age gracefully — gaining character with daily use rather than showing wear. The matte, organic surface creates a softer aesthetic central to refined kitchen design.

Porcelain Slabs & Custom Finishes

Large-format porcelain slabs and Dekton ultra-compact surfaces offering non-porous, stain-resistant performance. Available with custom edge profiles that replicate the depth of natural stone. Ideal for indoor-outdoor applications and high-traffic environments where beauty must meet durability.

From Slab Selection
to Installation

Selecting the right stone for your kitchen is a personal experience. Here is how we guide you from initial consultation through flawless installation.

Consult

Stone Consultation

We discuss your kitchen design, daily usage patterns, maintenance preferences, and aesthetic goals. We recommend stone types and finishes that match your lifestyle — natural marble for those who embrace patina, quartzite for high-traffic families, engineered options for minimal maintenance. Complimentary for all projects.

Select

Private Slab Selection

Visit partnered stone yards during a private appointment to personally select your exact slabs. We guide you through vein direction, color variation, bookmatching potential, and how the stone will look at full scale in your kitchen. No substitutions — the slab you choose is the slab we install.

Template

Precision Digital Templating

After cabinetry installation, our team uses laser-guided digital templating to capture exact countertop dimensions — including sink cutouts, cooktop openings, edge profiles, and backsplash heights. Digital templating achieves accuracy within 1mm for seamless fit.

Fabricate

CNC Cutting & Edge Finishing

Slabs are cut using CNC waterjet technology for precise edges and cutouts. Edge profiles (eased, beveled, bullnose, ogee, mitered) are machined and hand-finished. Seam placement is strategically planned to minimize visibility and follow natural vein lines. Fabrication: 5-10 business days.

Install

Professional Installation

Our stone installation team sets countertops with color-matched epoxy seams, applies appropriate sealants for natural stone, and verifies level and overhang consistency. Installation for a typical kitchen takes 1 day. We provide a complete stone care guide specific to your material.

Investment Range

$20,000 — $80,000

Depending on stone type, slab size, edge profile complexity, and installation scope. Natural marble and exotic quartzite are at the higher end; engineered quartz and porcelain slabs offer excellent value. Price includes slab, fabrication, and professional installation.

Experience

Stone selection is one of the most impactful decisions in your kitchen design. We make the process personal and transparent — from private slab yard viewings to detailed vein-matching and layout planning — so you choose with confidence rather than uncertainty.

Frequently Asked
Questions

Stone countertop pricing ranges from $20,000 to $80,000 for a full kitchen installation including material, fabrication, and installation. Engineered quartz starts around $75-120 per square foot installed; natural marble ranges from $100-300+ per square foot depending on rarity. Exotic quartzite and specialty stones fall in between.

Marble offers unmatched beauty and the development of natural patina over time — ideal for homeowners who appreciate living materials. Quartzite provides similar aesthetics with significantly higher hardness and acid resistance. We recommend marble for those who embrace imperfection and quartzite for families who prefer lower maintenance.

Yes. Natural marble, granite, and limestone require periodic sealing — typically every 6-12 months depending on stone porosity and usage. We apply an initial penetrating sealer at installation and provide sealer products and application instructions. Quartzite generally requires less frequent sealing than marble.

Yes. Waterfall countertops (stone flowing from horizontal surface down to the floor) and bookmatched slab installations are core capabilities. Vein-matching across waterfall edges and full-height backsplashes requires careful slab selection and precision cutting — we plan these details during your private slab viewing.

After cabinetry is in place: digital templating takes 1-2 hours, fabrication requires 5-10 business days, and installation is typically completed in 1 day. The total process from templating to installed countertops averages 2-3 weeks.

Yes. Full-height stone backsplashes and feature walls are among our most requested installations. We book-match slabs for dramatic wall installations, create seamless backsplash panels, and fabricate custom niches from stone. These elements are templated and installed alongside countertops for seamless material continuity.
