Timeless American
Craftsmanship

The Heritage collection honors the enduring tradition of American kitchen craft — raised-panel cabinetry, hand-applied crown moldings, and rich hardwood finishes that evoke the warmth and permanence of homes built to last generations.

The Tradition

Heritage kitchens are designed around the proportions and details that define classic American residential architecture — substantial crown moldings, framed inset doors, turned posts, and decorative corbels that give the kitchen a sense of permanence and craft.

Every Heritage installation uses solid maple and cherry hardwoods with hand-applied finishes that develop depth and warmth over decades of use. This is a kitchen built for the way American families actually live — generous, welcoming, and designed around gathering.

Crafted for Your Home

Yanis Remodeling designs and installs Heritage kitchens across Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Irvine, Dana Point, Beverly Hills, Pasadena, and communities throughout Orange County and Los Angeles.

Each Heritage kitchen is customized to your home architecture, family size, and lifestyle — from cabinet layout and island dimensions to hardware selection and decorative details that tie the kitchen to the character of your home.

This collection is ideal for estates where the kitchen must feel architecturally anchored — not contemporary, not transitional — but truly timeless and proportional to the home.

The space feels as though it has always belonged to the home — aligned with its architecture, its scale, and its permanence.

Design Philosophy

Heritage is structured around classical proportion and layered detail. Every element serves the architecture — nothing is decorative for its own sake.

Architectural Alignment

Every elevation is designed to align with the home's architecture — from grand entry sightlines to open-concept great rooms.

Classic Materials,
Enduring Quality

Solid Maple & Cherry Cabinetry

Framed inset cabinetry in solid North American hard maple and cherry. Doors feature raised-panel profiles with hand-sanded edges and multi-step stain-and-glaze finishes. Available in Natural, Honey, Espresso, and Antique White with chocolate glaze. All joints use mortise-and-tenon construction for generational durability.

Honed Granite & Marble Countertops

Natural stone countertops in honed Absolute Black granite, Colonial White granite, Carrara marble, and Vermont soapstone. Edge profiles include ogee, bullnose, and eased — selected to complement the traditional door profiles and molding details of the Heritage collection.

Oil-Rubbed Bronze & Pewter Hardware

Cabinet pulls and knobs in oil-rubbed bronze, antique pewter, and brushed brass. Classic profiles include cup pulls, ring pulls, and turned knobs that match the scale and proportion of Heritage door frames. Hardware is solid metal construction — never hollow or plated.

Decorative Millwork & Crown Molding

Multi-piece crown molding assemblies, fluted columns, arched valances, and decorative corbels — all fabricated from solid hardwood and finished to match cabinetry. These architectural details transform kitchen cabinetry into built-in furniture that looks original to the home.

Frequently Asked
Questions

Heritage kitchen installations range from $70,000 to $160,000 depending on kitchen size, wood species (maple vs. cherry), countertop material, and decorative millwork complexity. A mid-range Heritage kitchen with solid maple cabinetry, honed granite countertops, and standard crown molding averages $95,000 to $120,000 in the Orange County and Los Angeles market.

From design approval to completion, expect 10 to 16 weeks. Custom cabinetry fabrication takes 6-8 weeks, followed by 5-8 weeks of on-site installation. The timeline accounts for multi-step finishing, crown molding assembly, and countertop templating and fabrication.

Maple offers a finer, more consistent grain pattern ideal for painted or light-stained finishes. Cherry has a richer, warmer grain that deepens in color over time — especially in natural and honey finishes. Cherry is typically 15-20% more expensive than maple. Both species use the same mortise-and-tenon construction.

Yes. Heritage design elements can be calibrated for different architectural contexts. In modern homes, we often simplify crown profiles, use cleaner door styles within the raised-panel family, and select lighter finishes. The result is classic warmth without period-specific ornamentation.

Yanis Remodeling installs Heritage kitchens across Orange County (Newport Beach, Laguna Beach, Irvine, Dana Point, San Clemente, Huntington Beach) and Los Angeles County (Beverly Hills, Pasadena, La Canada Flintridge, Arcadia, Brentwood, and surrounding communities).

Heritage cabinetry accommodates all premium appliance brands including Sub-Zero, Wolf, Viking, KitchenAid, and Thermador. Panel-ready options allow refrigerators and dishwashers to be concealed behind matching cabinetry panels. We handle all appliance specification during the design phase.

Yes. Heritage islands feature turned posts or decorative legs, corbel-supported countertop overhangs, and integrated storage tailored to your family needs. Islands can include prep sinks, wine coolers, microwave drawers, and dedicated seating areas with decorative panels on the seating side.

Our project management team handles all permit applications and city inspections for your kitchen remodel. In California, permits are required for structural modifications, electrical changes, plumbing relocations, and gas line work. Requirements vary by city within Orange County and Los Angeles County.
