A cramped tub-and-shower combo with diamond stone tile and a worn oak vanity, reworked into a clean, modern guest bath.
This Anaheim guest bathroom was working hard and showing it. Tumbled-stone diamond tile crowded the tub surround, a fabric shower curtain hung from a tension rod, and a dark oak vanity with a single oval sink sat under surface-mounted fixtures. The room felt busy, dated, and smaller than it really was.
Working within the existing footprint, we rebuilt it around calm, large-format gray porcelain, a frameless glass tub panel, and a dark shaker vanity with two vessel sinks. The same room now feels open, bright, and genuinely modern — without the cost of moving plumbing or walls.

Nothing structural moved. By replacing the diamond stone tile with quiet large-format porcelain, swapping the curtain for a fixed frameless glass panel, and trading the oak vanity for a dark shaker double, the room reads larger, cleaner, and far more current — proof that a thoughtful guest-bath remodel doesn't require gutting the whole plan.
The busy tumbled-stone diamond tile was replaced with calm, large-format gray porcelain on the walls and floor, which makes a small room read larger and is far easier to keep clean.
A fixed frameless glass panel replaced the sagging fabric shower curtain, containing water cleanly while keeping the sightline to the window open.
The worn oak vanity gave way to a dark shaker cabinet with a quartz top and two vessel sinks — added function for a shared guest bath without enlarging the footprint.
A new ceiling exhaust fan, recessed lighting, and a clean framed mirror replaced the dated wall mirror and surface-mounted fixtures.

Often, yes. In this Anaheim bathroom we kept the same footprint and tub location but switched to large-format gray porcelain, a frameless glass panel, and lighter, cleaner finishes. Reducing visual clutter and grout lines makes a compact room feel noticeably more open.
A fixed frameless glass panel on a tub-shower contains water far better than a curtain, looks more finished, and keeps the room feeling open because you can see straight through it. It also avoids the maintenance and mildew issues that come with fabric or vinyl curtains.
A full guest or hall bathroom remodel like this usually takes about 3 to 5 weeks once design and materials are confirmed, depending on tile complexity, plumbing, waterproofing, and vanity lead times.
